Whether you already have a mood board full of images and inspiration or you can’t quite imagine what style would suit your project, I’ll work with you and I’ll help you pin down the style that’s right for you. As a
multi-disciplined illustrator and designer, I've mastered working in a broad range of techniques.
Here in my style guide I've categorised some of the beautiful styles I work in. From colourful watercolours to intricate line drawings, to bold expressive brush ink or digital printmaking. I love working with a whole variety of artistic media and being able to choose the style that will best communicate the brand/project.
Combining traditional illustration techniques with digital software (using adobe design suite) creates so many fresh possibilities stylistically. If you are searching for a style you don’t see here, contact me and I’ll tell you honestly if it’s one that I craft.
I love to combine traditional
print-making with digital software to create a modern, textured look. This adds detail and a more tactile nature to simple compositions and colour combinations. These striking designs look great across a range of outcomes including packaging and publishing. For more info on any of these projects, please visit the project page- White Water Granola Eco Packaging.
Illustrated branding and web banner for fine foods brand Taste of the Lakes.
My digital print-making style brings a fresh, more artistic, hand crafted feel to packaging & branding. I create this style by combining traditional print-making with Photoshop.
Coffee is an unusual material to paint with but i have mastered the art of sepia tones with this amazing material. Coffee gives a lovely effect staining the paper, adding greater depth.
These intricate ink drawings look great both small and blown up so you can truly see the hand drawn quality of the lines. I can vary my expressive ink style from fine detail to bolder lines to suit the weight of line drawing you're after. These type of drawings work especially well for detailed subjects such as overgrown busy botanicals, plants, flowers and jungly scenes and can look great on packaging, see my Wildflower Shampoo Packaging.
For more ink drawings please see my Line Drawings page.
My bold expressive brush ink style in B&W is perfect for punchy clean designs. The artistic loose brush strokes communicate a high end feel.
A selection of some of my favourite watercolour illustrations. A cheerful, colourful style with
attention to detail.
Watercolours with chalky lines and textures added digitally. This style is
rich in texture and colour while keeping the painterly quality underneath. The lines and textures are a looser more modern interpretation of a watercolour style.
