Tom's Midnight Garden Exhibition

I designed and illustrated an exciting installation based on the enchanting story of 'Tom's Midnight Garden' for Theatre by the Lake, to compliment their Christmas production. The installation, titled 'A Window into Tom and Hatty's World,' creatively showcases four captivating scenes from the story through whimsical windows mounted on the wall. In this magical tale, Tom first discovers the garden through a door, while Hatty occasionally glimpses it through a window. Each layered scene, reminiscent of a stage set, transports viewers into the thrilling adventures of Tom and Hatty! The layered "mini stage scenes" are crafted from unique patterned papers, hand-printed elements, and watercolor characters.  If you’re curious to learn more about my artwork and design for public spaces and museums, I’d love to hear from you!
