Fishmonger portrait, painted in watercolour and pencil crayon with textures combined digitally.
I illustrated this portrait for an exhibition, 'A Sketch a Day' at Keswick Gallery and Museum. My focus for the exhibition was local independent shops and shop keepers in the Lake District.
The exhibit displayed over 30 of my illustrations including sketches, demonstrating the process from sketch to idea to final illustration.
The Fishmonger is illustrated in my chalky line and watercolour style, great for food illustrations, portraits, buildings and close ups. For more of this style please visit my Style Guide.
National Trust Book of Afternoon Tea
I enjoyed working with the National Trust on this lovely collection of historical British afternoon tea recipes, written by food historian Laura Mason, I illustrated the double page chapter openers and spot illustrations through out.
