Watercolours & Chalky Line
A selection of work showing my 'watercolour and chalky line style'. A looser more contemporary watercolour style with chalky lines and printmaking textures added digitally. Rich in texture and colour while keeping the painterly quality underneath, this style works well across a wide range of subjects including; food, buildings, people and objects.
Fishmonger Portrait

I illustrated this portrait for an exhibition, 'A Sketch a Day' at Keswick Gallery and Museum. My focus for the exhibition was local independent shops and shop keepers in the Lake District. The exhibit displayed over 30 of my illustrations including sketches, demonstrating the process from sketch to idea to final illustration. The portrait is illustrated in my chalky line and watercolour style, great for food illustrations, portraits, buildings and close ups.
